Emotional eating. These two words and fifteen letters seem so small, yet their impact is so large. It is an easy way out from dealing with pain and frustration from our day-to-day lives, so why not do it? Why not cave in when everything seems like it is at its worst and do something that feels good in the moment? After all, who says that emotional eating is wrong?
Being self-destructive may feel good temporarily, but only makes your woes worse in the grand scheme of things. Sit in your anxieties, pain and frustration and embrace what you are feeling. Emotional eating only leads to more regret as you sit in chagrin the next day, and realize that whatever it is you are dealing with is still there. Face your fears, for being outside your comfort zone is the only way to true growth.

Dig deep within the sinews of your body and use every ounce of willpower not to cave in to your temptations, for your body will believe everything your mind says.

You are strong. You are great. You are powerful.
